Hamilton Health Sciences' Corporate Initiatives
- Charting a course for the future
Each year Hamilton Health Sciences is committed to a comprehensive planning process that involves the setting of corporate objectives. The hospital does this by recognizing needs and opportunities and by making choices about the work we do.
"The choices we make are the priority initiatives that will take us the next important steps towards achieving our vision ‘To be leaders in exemplary care, innovation and academic excellence'," said Murray Martin, President and CEO. "By planning strategically, we can be sure that our activities are aligned, measurable and results oriented."
This objective-setting process begins with the executive council who meet to establish areas of focus for the year and set specific objectives. These objectives reflect the hospital's established strategic directions and its operational priorities. Each program, service and department within the organization then sets its own objectives that contribute to and advance the overall corporate objectives.
