Procurement and Supply Chain

Welcome

About Us!

Hamilton Health Sciences is a family of seven unique hospitals, a Cancer Centre and an Urgent Care Centre, serving more than 2.3 million residents of Hamilton and south central Ontario.

Hamilton Health Sciences is the second largest hospital group in Ontario and the largest employer in the Hamilton region with a staff of approximately 11,000.   The breadth and scope of services offered by HHS, in combination with the hospital's focus on academics and research, make it an employer of choice.

As an academic teaching hospital with more than 1,100 beds and an affiliation with McMaster University and Mohawk College, Hamilton Health Sciences is committed to providing exemplary health care while advancing excellence in education and health research.

The Procurement and Supply Chain Portfolio provides integrated procurement and supplies distribution support across the Juravinski Hospital & Cancer Centre, the Hamilton General Hospital, St. Peter's - Maplewood, Chedoke, McMaster and West Lincoln Memorial Hospital sites.

Primary functions include procurement, contract development, management & administration, and supply chain distribution.

In addition the program supports the procurement needs for all capital and major redevelopment projects and manages formal relationships with GPO's and other strategic alliances including Mohawk Supply Chain Services – a Shared Services Organization providing the hospital's warehousing and JIT inventory system support, among other services.

If you have questions or need more information, please email us at procurement@hhsc.ca. We will be more than happy to assist you.
